Uh Oh!!!

How is this for some art and design work?

This is what happens when you are too busy and leave your not-yet-three year old in charge of her two year old brother!!! It all happened in just the time to take a shower and I'm quick!

He did it to himself! Yikes! Good thing for washable markers!

How cute! At least it wasn't the walls or worse.

My 6 year old and our neighbor's 7 year old (devil child) took permanent markers outside today and devil child came up with a great idea... "Let's draw all over the community mailboxes." So they did. Ugggggg! We spent a good deal of time scrubbing the mailboxes with windex and steel wool. Thankfully it came off!

We had quite the talk during dinner tonight!!

Oh Lori, I can imagine! Yikes! Thank goodness it came off. My son also found a sharpie one day and had his way with the wood floor and carpet. It is mostly off the wood floor now. The carpet is shot out anyway.

As an older sister I can almost guarantee your son wasn't the only one involved in this act....

LOL! So this is what I have to look forward to, huh?

Kate- Danielle had a small hand in it. She did a little to herself. But I have seen Nicholas in action. His nickname is Mr. Messy. He is good at it!

YES Jaime! You do! Although not for a little while and some kids are better than others. Also the first one probably would not have the markers at 2. But my older one was using them and he got into it. Plus Nicholas is PARTICULARLY busy and into everything.

I have photos like that! At least he kept the drawing to his own self - my paintwork is like a subway station at this stage!!

THIS TIME it was just to himself. The kids table and carpet around it is covered in "artwork". The walls have been scrubbed and painted over a couple times.

That is one serious cutie patootie right there, and a budding artist to boot! I can't wait till I have kids to make huge messes!

Lulu- You say that now but wait until they write on the walls and ruin your new coffee table! But it is fun. Just wish I had a house keeper!
