That was me 40 years ago! Still a baby... I was only ONE. (And it looks like I am waiting for FOOD!) Now today???? 29 again! Woo hoo! Unfortunately I was ACTUALLY good at math in school and these numbers just don't gel. But I am creative right? So somehow.... ? Maybe I can make it work out so that the numbers do make sense. I certainly don't feel that OTHER number. And most would say I don't look it either (I hope they are telling the truth)!!!
This is me a little younger with my VERY much younger mom! She was only 24 then! Soooo much younger than me. Isn't she cute?
Not sure what today will bring other than the usual. Make lunch for the kiddies. Pick Danielle up from preschool. Take Nicholas to the park. Work on allllll the rep decks and samples and labeling and getting the new designs to print and all the Miss 'N Nick things.
Maybe I will go to my parents for dinner... maybe just stay home. We will see. As I get older I can less and less about have a big "ta-do". At least it is already a bit better than last year's bday. But I am more tired and more busy than then.
Hopefully I will eat something tasty and drink some fermented something or other. Red or white... I don't care. This is a delicious meal I made a couple weeks ago. Smoked salmon with fresh ripe avocado, chives and a squeeze of lemon. Add a glass of chardonnay and it is one fine meal. I LOVE it! Would you like to join me?

Judy- Thank you! 29 sounds good. And it is 41 to be exact. I was a year in the pic.
Lisa- Thanks! I had an extra special birthday surprise from YOU today in the mail! The candies you sent arrived today. How ironic and fortuitous!
Mamageek- Thanks!!! Glad you liked them.
Happy Birthday!!! We have a traditional birthday song in my group of friends for birthdays and it goes like this:
Happy happy birthday
from all of us to you!!
We wish it was our birthday
so we can party too!!!
Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday! You look amazing, not a day over 29 :) I hope you had a good one. And that salmon and avacado plate you made looks delicious!
Happy birthday!! Darn. I had it on my calendar to send you a note & then I forgot. Why not 29? I would totally believe you. When I say it people think I'm trying to be funny.... which is not funny! Hope you had a great celebration.

Hey there ~ happy birthday! Cute picture of you @ the table... We share a birthday month 'gem' girl ~
Happy Birthday! Speaking from experience, June is THE BEST month to be born in.
I'm a June birthday girl too.
You can't be over 40! Or just tell me you cheated and used one of your college photos on your profile...
Happy Birthday!
Happy BDay! Welcome to the 40 plus club I just turned 41 also (5/20) I learned that it is best to tell everyone that you are older than your age so that they will think how fantastic you look. If I said 29 they would think looked pretty old, but for a 48 year old I look FAB!!!
Emily- Thanks for the song! Very cool. Too bad I didn't party. But the kids sang to me and we did candles (a FEW times).
Erin- Thanks!!! It is a good dish. Try it for brunch, lunch or dinner!
Amy- Thank you! Did you know it was my bday???
Taste Memory- Cool. When is your bday?
Kate- Thanks. When is yours then?
Betty- Ha ha! I only sort of cheated... The photo is a few years old (I have so few since I had the kids). But the one here is just a couple weeks old: http://missnnick.com/blog/
Robin- Ha ha. That is a good plan!! Happy Birthday to you too!! Cool that we are the same age.
Happy B-day Nicole! I love turning 29 each year, congrats!
Happy bday. I turned 29 this year too :)
Wine is a great way to celebrate!
Looks delicious and fresh! Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, haha, i love the "something fermented," hope it was a great day
